Having a company name called “Alexander Technology Group” leaves some wondering what kind of technology we work in (the marketing side of my brain forces me to type out that we specialize in IT and Software consulting and placement). “Do you ever work in Green Technology” is often a question I get. I have to answer this question with a “no” but often don’t have a good answer when people ask what kind of jobs the field of “Green Technology” has to offer. Being a regular reader of the Globe and Boston.com, I came across this article that profiles the top 10 jobs in Green Technology. A few were eye-opening to me so I wish you, as always, happy reading:

It was refreshing to see this article posted on Boston.com last week.  While we have been busier than most of the market through this economic crunch, our optimism hasn’t been met with validating statistics and testimony from most of the rest of the market.  The following article talks about how, while we aren’t out of the weeds yet, there is optimism surrounding current market conditions and future speculation.

I wanted to take a minute to drive some attention to a great event taking place on Saturday June 5th at NHTI’s Concord, NH Campus.  Pat Tormey, Supreme Leader of the NH .NET Users Group, has done a fantastic job of putting a great program together covering topics ranging from SSRS, SQL Development, F#, Sharepoint, and Silverlight.  This all-day event will include education, networking, and some top-notch BBQ.  Details on programs and registration can be found at the following link:
